Good day on the Hudson

We departed NYC at 9:30 this morning and headed North on the Hudson river. The weather was good and the river was calm. It was like cruising back home on the Merrimac River only on steroids! Once we got to the George Washington Bridge the ferry traffic was gone and it was really a nice ride. We cruised 32 nautical miles (37 miles), about 5 hours at an average of 7.5 knots arriving at Half Moon Bay Marina in Croton-On-Hudson, NY.  Tomorrow the weather is not so good, but we will continue to somewhere near Kingston, NY.
